Silence is a thought unsaid
but much more
because the thought is still there
the movement of your head
the hint in your eyes
the slant of your mouth
the posture of your body
the wave of your hand
Silence can be it's own language
sometimes telling you so much more
then the chatter of irrelevant trivia

Loneliness
rain gloom
all over
and there is nothing
you can do
the rain pours down
and the fog rolls in
and you are consumed
the darkness thickening
until there is nothing left
but loneliness
all over
and there is nothing
you can do
the rain pours down
and the fog rolls in
and you are consumed
the darkness thickening
until there is nothing left
but loneliness

What the...?
Well the other day I was searching for little kid songs to sing to my children and came across a rather gross song made for young children called yellow bird. Here it is:
a yellow bird with a yellow bill was sitting on my window sill.
a yellow bird with a yellow bill was sitting on my (clap) window sill.
I coaxed him in with a piece of bread and then i smashed his little head.
I coaxed him in with a piece of bread and then i smashed his (clap) little head.
a little puppy with little paws was sitting on my table saw.
a little puppy with little paws was sitting on my (clap) table saw.
I picked him up like a piece of meat and then i cut off all his feet.
I picked him up like a piece of meat and then i cut off (clap) all his feet.
a little kitty a little cat was sitting on my welcome mat.
a little kitty a little cat was sitting on my (calp) welcome mat.
I picked her up and made her pur and then i pulled out all her fur.
I picked her up and made her pur and then i pulled out (clap) all her fur.
1. who would sing this to their child and 2. who would even think to sing this let alone write it?

Don't Tread on Me
well... I keep meaning to post once a week but then life gets crazy... between school, husband and kids I sometimes do not know where I get the time to take care of the house. Well, school is done tomorow so I should be able to start posting again... maybe think of some good poems. I love writing poems. Have any ideas for a good poem let me know. Always looking for ideas.

Cara Bear
Chapter 1
She walked into the hallway. Oh yeah they are at it again. There was Tristan and Martha in a deep passionate kiss. She looked down the hall at all the teens going to class or just chatting. She remembers a day she actually liked school and had friends but those days were long gone.
She could still hear Martha saying, “Hey Cara Bear are you coming to the dance tonight?”
“I don’t know, I don’t have a date.”
“Tristan told me his friend wants to go with you.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, we could double date.”
She can’t stand it when her mom calls here Cara Bear anymore.
“Mom, it’s Carley. I hate that name.”
“Honey, I’ve always called you that. What‘s wrong?”
“Mom! JUST STOP!” Carley ran away crying to her room slamming the door.
Carley looked around the hall for her best root to her next class. They were kissing in front of her locker though so she did not know how she was going to get her books.

Death
There he was on the edge of life
fighting to survive
In the end did he win
or just die
What happens when we go
It's so mystrious
and very unknown
Every day looking for an answer
but instead just
more and more people
dieing and you wonder
why WHY why
pain and suffering
and you curse god
even when you do not believe
needing someone to blame
or you would go insane
There he was on the edge of life
fighting to survive
In the end did he win
or just die

Zentangled Poem
This is my second Zentangle I have made on the computer
and the first time I ever added a poem to a Zentangle.
It was pretty fun... I think I will make some more of these.

A few poems about suffering...
Poem # 1: (Pantoum)
Suffering and Pain Shape You
Suffering and pain shape you
into something new
because you learn
and Move on
Into something new
and so often better
and move on
and feel happiness
And so often better
filled with joy
and feel happiness
But how do you know your happy
filled with joy
You look to the bad
but how do you know your happy
because you remember
you look to the bad
then experience a hug
because you remember
the happiness is amazing
Then experience a hug
or a kiss
the happiness is amazing
Because of all the pain
Or a kiss
an amazing feeling
because of all the pain
you can realize true happiness
An amazing feeling
suffering and pain shape you
you can realize true happiness
because you learn
Poem # 2: (Found)
People have to really suffer
before they can risk doing what they love
If you never feel the suffering
how will you know it is what you love?
If you never feel the suffering
will you appreciate what you love?
People have to really suffer
before they can risk doing what they love
because you need to know that it is good
and great
and wonderful
to really know you must feel all the bad
and pain
and hurt
only then will you know that you truly love
and care
and appreciate
all that is there in front of you
Poem # 3: (Rhyming)
How would you know happiness
if it wasn't for all the nastiness?
If you never felt pain
would you even experience any gain?
You would you grow and learn
with out any concern?
If life were all the same
wouldn't it just be lame?
How would you know happiness
if it wasn't for all the nastiness?
Poem # 4: (free verse)
the truly great
suffer and experience pain
because they have learned from their mistakes
they are able to be great
look to the past
and the present
the happy people
the ones who have greatness
are the ones who have suffered
who have had bad experience
that really changed their life
the truly great
Suffering and Pain Shape You
Suffering and pain shape you

It's For the Children
it's for the children
you know
that we spend all your money
take away your guns
and strip you of your rights
it's for the children
you know
never mind all the debt
they will have to pay
from all the spending
it's for the children
you know
never mind the false sense of security
that's been created
becuase they no longer see a need to carry a gun
it's for the children
you know
never mind the dependency
they will have on the government
becuase of too many laws
it's for the children
you know
we tell our selves and you
so we can do whatever
we feel we need to do
"It's for the children"

A False Sense of Security
Imagine a women
with a sign
"No guns no crimes!"
She thinks this will stop all of the violence
in every one's life!
A false sense of security
making her feel safe
which creates a dangerous place
where the strong stand tall
and the weak underneath.
Now imagine later down the road
when she's walking through an ally
and gets attacked by a stranger
will him not having a gun
really stop him from raping her?
A false sense of security
making her feel safe
which creates a dangerous place
where the strong stand tall
and the weak underneath.
Isn't it ridiculous
isn't it sad
how she thinks more laws
will stop all the bad?
Like a little child snug under their blanket
thinking no one can get them now.
A false sense of security
making her feel safe
which creates a dangerous place
where the strong stand tall
and the weak underneath.
Why would she fight so hard to be her own person
just to look to others for her protection?
Now she is no longer independent
and not equal to everyone else
becuase she is weaker
and can not fight for herself.
A false sense of security
making her feel safe
which creates a dangerous place
where the strong stand tall
and the weak underneath.
If she only had carried a gun
She wouldn't be dead
becuase she didn't have time to run
and she wouldn't have died scared
waiting for the police to say
everything will be okay.
Her false sense of security
made her feel safe
but in the end
it only made her have a horrible fate.
Becuase no guns only
make the strong stand tall
with the weak underneath.
